How can I delete my You.com account?

Permanently delete your account from your You.com account settings.

Please note: Deleting a You.com account is permanent. Once deleted, your data is not stored anywhere, so this action cannot be reversed, and your data cannot be recovered. Please make sure to back up any data you want to save before deleting your account.

To delete your You.com account, please follow these steps:

  1. Sign in to You.com by clicking the Sign In button at the bottom of the sidebar on the left of the page.
  2. Go to your user profile by visiting you.com/profile, or clicking over to your user settings on You.com (the three dots in the bottom left corner across from your avatar) and selecting "All settings..." under "Quick settings". 
  3. Click “Manage Profile”.
  4. Select the “Delete Account” link.
  5. Confirm your decision to delete your You.com account.
