Projects help you organize your conversations on You.com. They function as folders where you can group related chats together for better organization.

How do I access Projects?
To access Projects:
- Look at the navigation menu on the left-hand side of your screen
- Click on "Projects"
- This will take you to your Projects page where all your projects are organized
How do I create a new Project?
There are two ways to create a new Project:
- From anywhere on You.com:
- Click the "+" (plus) button near the Projects section
- Name your project and create it
- From the Projects page:
- Navigate to your Projects page
- Look for the option to add a new project
- Enter a name for your project and create it
How do I view my Projects?
On the Projects page, you can:
- See all your projects organized in one place
- Filter projects by selecting "Shared with me" to see projects others have shared
- Filter by "Created by me" to see only the projects you've created
How do I add existing chats to my Project?
To add previous conversations to a Project:
- Open your desired project
- Look for an option to add more chats
- Search for relevant previous conversations
- Select the chats you want to include in your project
Can I create new chats within a Project?
Yes! To start a new chat within a Project:
- Open your Project
- Scroll to the bottom where you'll find the option to add a new chat
- Select "Auto mode" or toggle to choose your favorite agent
- Type your prompt and start your conversation
- The new chat will automatically be stored within your current Project
What are Project sources?
Project sources (coming soon) will allow all chat threads within a Project to reference the same knowledge base. This means:
- Every conversation in your Project can access the same files
- All chats can reference the same links
- Your data and information will be consistently available across all chats in the Project
Can I organize Projects in different ways?
Yes! You can create different types of Projects based on your needs:
- Work-related projects (like "CFO Projects")
- Technical projects (like "Coding Experiments")
- Topic-based projects
- Any other organizational system that works for your needs
How do Projects help me be more productive?
Projects help you:
- Keep related conversations organized in one place
- Quickly reference previous chats on similar topics
- Maintain context across multiple conversations
- Share knowledge with team members (via the sharing feature)
- Access consistent reference materials across conversations (with the upcoming sources feature)
