How do I manage my Pro subscription?

How you manage, cancel, or request a refund for your Pro subscription will depend on where it was created.

All Pro subscriptions operate on an automated subscription basis, meaning that the user will be charged at the beginning of each new billing cycle, depending on whether they are on the Monthly or Annual plan. It is the responsibility of the user to cancel their subscription prior to the beginning of the next billing cycle if they do not want to be charged for it. Subscriptions that are canceled will remain active until the end of the current billing cycle.

Managing a Pro subscription if you purchased it via the Apple App Store

If you purchased Pro via the Apple App Store and you want to view or cancel your subscription, you will need to do so from the Apple App Store. You can find instructions for that here.

To request a refund for a Pro subscription purchased via the Apple App Store

You will need to contact Apple directly. We are not able to process refunds for Pro subscriptions that were created via an Apple App Store account.

You can contact Apple Customer Support at https://getsupport.apple.com/.

  • Click "Billing & Subscriptions" followed by "Subscriptions & Purchases."
  • From there, you'll be given a variety of avenues through which you can contact Apple.

Note that receiving a refund and or uninstalling the You.com iOS app will not automatically cancel your subscription - you must go through the cancellation process in the App Store settings.

To request a refund for a Pro subscription purchased via the Google Play Store

If your subscription was created less than 48 hours ago, you will need to contact Google directly. You can find out more about requesting a refund on Google Play here.

Note that receiving a refund and or uninstalling the You.com Android app will not automatically cancel your subscription - you must go through the cancellation process in your Google Play account.

Managing a Pro subscription if you purchased it via You.com

If you purchased Pro directly from You.com via the plans page and you want to manage your subscription, follow these instructions:
  1. On You.com, click "Settings" in the sidebar
  2. Select "All settings..." 
  3. Locate "Purchases" 
  4. Click the "Manage Your Subscriptions" button.

To add a payment method if you signed up via You.com

  • Select Add a payment method.
  • Enter the payment method details.
  • Click Add.

To delete a payment method if you signed up via You.com

  • Click the three dots next to the payment method.
  • Select Delete.
  • Confirm the deletion by clicking Delete payment method.

    Note: It isn't possible to delete the default payment method for an active subscription. If you want to switch to another default payment method, select the three-dot menu next to the payment method you want to set as default and select Make default.

To cancel a subscription if you signed up via You.com

  • Select Cancel plan.
  • Confirm the cancellation by clicking Cancel plan on the next page. 

⚠️ Please keep in mind the following when canceling ⚠️

  • Access Post-Cancellation: You will retain access to Pro features until the end of your current billing cycle.
  • Auto-Renewal: By canceling, you are opting out of the automatic renewal of your subscription.
  • Refund Policy: Canceling your subscription does not result in a refund for the unused portion of the billing period.

It’s important to cancel your subscription before the next billing cycle if you do not wish to continue using your Pro plan.
